TThe name of the Hebrew University, its emblem, stationery bearing its name and its website belong to the University and are intended for use for the purpose of the objectives of the University in the framework of the conduct of its activity. Members of staff must ensure that any ascription to the University is correct and accurate.

These Regulations are intended to regulate the conditions under which a member of the academic staff in a full time position may engage in additional work, and establish the procedure for submitting requests for additional work, as well as the procedure for their approval.

The purpose of this procedure is to determine adjustments in the academic activities of members of the senior academic staff at the Hebrew University as a result of childbirth and parenting, in recognition of the duty to respect the right to equality.

A teacher who wishes to make reading material accessible to students in the course  will prepare a detailed list of the items included in the bibliography for the course.

This procedure regulates the rules for employing relatives in the academic staff

The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure that the University is a safe working and study environment, devoid of any sexual harassment or intimidation of a sexual nature. The regulations details what Sexual harassment is, the Commissioner for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, the procedure for Reporting Sexual Harassment, the procedures, the Bodies in Charge etc.

The following arrangement prohibits Consensual Intimate Relations between Faculty Members and Students or when there is a work relationship of authority.

The rules do not detract from the regulations that apply to sexual harassment.

The Hebrew University requires that its research workers adhere to the principles and rules laid out below in all aspects of their research, including: the planning and submitting of research proposals for funding;  generating, documenting, analyzing and preserving data;  appropriating, publishing, sharing and commercializing results.

In carrying out research, research workers must be unbiased. Their professional judgment should at all times be exercised independently, and extraneous interests should never be permitted to influence them in any aspect of their research. The University requires disclosure of all interests that are, or might appear, likely to bias research or improperly to influence decisions which can affect its progress. Consensual intimate relations, including sexual relationships, whether temporary or ongoing, between a faculty member who has an academic authority over a student and the student, constitute a conflict of interest that jeopardizes the integrity of the educational process, creates an improper atmosphere for study and in our community, and may lead to abuse of authority.
